Same height elements with EqualHeights – jQuery Plugin

1

Posted by Author@w3planting | Posted in CSS + XHTML | Posted on 13-12-2008

EqualHeights is a simple and easy to use jQuery Plugin, which do a simple task of making equal height of all the elements you specify.

If you are having more than 1 div (boxes) in a page and you want consistency in your design, by applying the same height to all the boxes, this is the right scenario to use this plugin. You can (optionally) specify a minimum and maximum height you want the element to be. Note that if your tallest elements contain more than the maximum height worth of content, the containing element will still be resized, and a scroll bar will appear on the side of the element.

You can see a demo of this plugin here

Shadow menu is a multilevel horizontal dropdown menu, which has some nice looking 3d type of menu items; you can easily integrate the multi level CSS menu into your website. It uses .png shadows to give a 3D effect to top level hovers & sub menus.

The menu is tested in IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera and Safari (PC)

Note: The framework normally uses only CSS but for IE6, there is a JavaScript file that must be included.
